Poor management
Nursing (Former Employee) –  Franklin, PAApril 23, 2019
If you enjoy the rules for clients changing every day, some people not being held to the same standard of others, and the most ridiculous management “team” (who purposely pawn counselors against nursing and vise versa) this place is for you! There is no job security even if you are good at your job. You will never be valued or promoted.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
No lunches, Disrespectful management who value no one worth valuing, no straight answers

Counselor (Former Employee) –  Franklin, PAJanuary 16, 2019
One of the worst employers to work for. No one currently there is qualified to work there. There are supervisors still using, selling and smoking crack and meth. Counselors constantly sleeping with clients. Counselors who believed addicts deserved to overdose and die. This facility is run on corporate greed, nothing more and nothing less.

None

All of them

Stessed and not heard
Counselor (Former Employee) –  Franklin, PAOctober 11, 2018
Lack of staff, when staff would leave more responsibility would get pushed onto you. There's no structure for clients. Rules were changed at the convenience of administration regularly and staff would get in trouble for not following rules that weren't communicated. Communication between departments is terrible! When a complaint is brought up it's completely disregarded and nothing changes. Last I knew there was ecoli in the water. Staff aren't respected at this facility by administration. Administration asks like they're concerned about you and what you want but would talk bad about you after you left to other staff. Departments work against each other and are very cliquey.
Pros
Free meals while working.
Cons
Very poor management.

This place is bad
Medical Assistant (Current Employee) –  Temecula, CAMarch 21, 2018
There are no benefits and not well staffed. Program director has no idea how to manage. There is no training, you either sink or swim. Lack of communication between patients, manager and CEO's. It is a treatment center to help, but the patients are the ones that run the show. Rules are not being enforced or implemented. You are the only nurse working on the weekends with a full house. You request for help and they just push you away.
Pros
hours
Cons
this places is a disaster from top to bottom.

tough job, very rewarding though
Counselor (Former Employee) –  Franklin, PAOctober 14, 2014
Days consisted of conducting individual sessions, group sessions, conducting intakes, interfacing with funding sources, arranging aftercare when necessary.

Hardest part of the job was the recidivism rate of clients relapsing and reentering treatment.

Most rewarding part was hearing from clients when they had succeeded.

My co-workers were amazing and I couldn't have made it without them. I remain friends with most of them.
