If you are GM, AFM or other management, you are expected to work 55-60+ hours a week. There is almost NO concept or concern of work/life balance. On more than one occasion, I was told by high-level management to tell employees to complete video training at home, off the clock. While it's improving all the time, the computer systems are insane and so broken. When I started the system went down, NATIONWIDE about every 5-7 weeks for hours at a time. Pretty darn good benefits, even for part-timers if you want them bad enough to pay. The job can be fun. The people you work with make it or break it. FT, It's a TOUGH job no matter how you slice it.
The best part of working at U-Haul is the satisfaction you get from helping each caller. I loved the sense of team and working together to achieve our goals.
I'd rather tell people I'm unemployed than to admit that I was employed at U Haul. Not even joking.
This is a complete waste of space. There's not a single upper management person that would care what's written here. Not even a tiny little bit. THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL!!!!
Don't waste your time unless you enjoy getting paid nothing and expected to do everything. TURN AROUND AND RUN!!!
