Fast pace with great professionalism and pride
Warehouse Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Fort Campbell, KYNovember 9, 2018
A typical day when I was a new sergeant, we did physical training from 0630-0730 and we had to be back at work at 0900. Physical Training (PT) was typically a great experience. We ran 3-7 miles three days a week and did conditioning drills, exercises the opposite days. During the work day, I was in charge of my tech supply shop where we supported over a number of different kinds of helicopters. It was very fast paced when it came to helping customers, to going to meetings, keeping up with inventory, parts, and invoices. My first line supervisor mentored me and guided me on how to become a leader. She taught me how to have a really great work ethic and take pride in everything I do and what the Army means to us. After her I had a Sergeant First Class that was my first line and he mentored me once I became a sergeant. My supervisors really cared for my well being and wanted me to be the best soldier I could be. The hardest part of my job, I would say would be you never really know what tomorrow will bring. Going to classes, going to different schools, deploying, having to relocate. The most enjoyable part would be the people, environment, the pride and loyalty we had.
