Each day is jam-packed with tons of work. If you last long enough, you may have the opportunity to learn more about landscaping other than general maintenance. Management may be the downfall of this company, from the Crew Cheifs to Ownership. You can't even really begin to like the co-workers you're with cause either they don't last one week or the work load is too overwhelming that you don't really get to know anyone. The hardest part of this job is the work load due to constant understaffing. The most enjoyable part of the job is the work schedule. If, and its a big if, everyone manages to complete the work load or weather interferes then you can expect to get Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. But you will need it after all the work that has been done. But your also too tired to enjoy those days off.
Mower operator (Former Employee) – Colorado Springs, CO – April 5, 2018
Quick hiring process but no oportunity to advance. It is a small company so work load is sometimes heavy on the few employees working. Constantly hiring and firing people to find "the right employee", this is not a good thing because new hires get fired before getting training for mistakes made during work.
Completely unwilling & unprepared to properly train!
Office Manager (Former Employee) – Knoxville – March 12, 2018
Management was COMPLETELY UNWILLING & UNPREPARED TO PROPERLY TRAIN for this position! I traveled to several offices (one two hours away) which was not specified when I accepted the position with absolutely no appreciation, filthy office conditions, no office supplies & unwilling to order, unfriendly & unprofessional office staff, etc., etc. Any questions while learning this new position were immediately met with a rude & condescending nature, which made it impossible to succeed! I wouldn't wish this position on my worst enemies dog!
