UPS Freight would work us 12 plus hours a shift whether we wanted it or not. It didn't matter if you had 30 days or 30 years in.it didn't matter if you were 25 years old or 60. And it didn't matter if you felt great or under the weather.

They do but it’s dependent upon the offense. I researched this, having plead guilty but not charged with a felony theft over $500 less than $25,000. I’m on probation with no prior such offenses.

I inquired right away with HR about my situation stating my understanding was UPS did hire felons. They said I was correct and were helpful but that a third party does the background check. A few weeks later I received a letter stating I am no longer being considered for the position because of the theft.

So, again, it depends and I don’t think UPS themselves can tell you which felonies would eliminate you from being offered the job
