UPS Freight would work us 12 plus hours a shift whether we wanted it or not. It didn't matter if you had 30 days or 30 years in.it didn't matter if you were 25 years old or 60. And it didn't matter if you felt great or under the weather.

YES, UPS does hire felons on an individual basis. The company does not have a blanket statement with regard to the hiring of felons. Felons with recent convictions and or convictions related to theft or violence MAY have a harder time, but should not be discouraged from applying anyway. I know more than a few felons that have been hired in Maryland. UPS is very big on honesty so be prepared to disclose all criminal history if asked on the application or during an interview. You will be disqualified on the spot for lying about your criminal background, so don't; again - UPS has a major hard on about honesty. The felons that I know in Maryland were honest on the app, were not questioned during the interview about their crimes and were hired anyway. All of them are still working at UPS and one is a new hire as of Aug. 2017. Go for it and good luck!

No Uniform. They tell you to dress comfortable and must wear boots to work. 1 gallon of water is part of the uniform. Never show up without it. Also wear layers, so if you get hot you can take off and if cold you can put on.
