Depending on who you work for, makes or breaks the job. It was a easy job with flex schedule. I will say the best part was being able to start at your time and finish early if you need to.

Flexible hours, fully remote. As long as you produce and complete your cases, no one bothers you. Work at your own pace. Do your job and you can operate as your own boss.

Managers have few duties. Sweat shop for labor, with little or no needed resources from volumes of managers. Programs top heavy. Labor requires post graduate education. Management are mostly lifers in the government with high school diplomas and no college or formal managerial/organizational training. Very bad working environment. Promotions based upon cronyism.

ProsFederal benefits are good and flexibility for work life balance. It feels good to help people.ConsManagement fails to hold bad employees accountable for bad performance and promotes based on seniority, not skill or intelligence. Thus, the NY office has extremely high turnover and management is unable to retain quality employees. Most of the managers are either lazy, 'lifers' with no ambition and don't care for the work OR are egomaniacs. The work environment is hostile and there is no morale.Advice to ManagementCertain managers cant figure out why people keep leaving. Like someone else said, look in the mirror.
