Sales Manager in Austin, TX

If you can put your head down and do what you are told that is half the battle. They pay well. You have to be willing to do what you would think is not right. They hold the bag for it.

You will find yourself in a position of having the motivation & gusto pushed right out of you once you finally hit the sales floor after a 6 week training class. Do not dare ask a manager for help once your out on the floor you will be frowned upon and lectured to the point you feel demotivated, and helpless. You will find yourself constantly asking yourself is this the day I quit? The management here is terrible they are all money hungry, and tend to stress there employees out. There is no motivation or anyone telling you hey great job what you do get is constant monitoring of your calls and you have to repeat every single word they say in your phone the customer can't hear it ,but you are expected to parrot them word for word. A glorified appointment setter while they the managers close your deals. USMR could be an incredible company but that starts with the top going to the bottom not everyone's a team player. This is my own opinion based on my own experiences I hope yours is much better.

The HR is extremely professionally run and everything they do is first class. Occasional events or workday lunches out with the company are always fun.
Quality Assurance Coordinator in Austin, TX

This position is the ideal place for someone looking for a reliable 9-6pm desk job with benefits and decent pay. The work itself isn’t necessarily difficult, but it definitely adds up the longer you work here, and you’re expected to learn everyone else’s job in case they’re out for the day/week. There’s lots of pressure from executives to make sure you’re doing your job perfectly, but when an issue does arise, the blame falls on the QA department 9 times out of 10. The coworkers are great, definitely have a friendly/family culture. But there’s not really a specified direction from management for your assignments. It’s pretty much just, “Do what you think you’re supposed to do on this and we’ll only give you feedback if you mess up.”

Hustle and stay away from company politics. Choose your friends wisely and don’t divulge information to your coworkers that you want to keep private.
