Editorial Assistant (Former Employee) – New York, NY – August 18, 2017
USNews & World Report was a great place to work. I worked as a secretary and was promoted to assisting the head of the production department. This entailed proofreading articles for typographical errors for the editor, selling advertising space via telephone and assisting staff in completion of special projects. My bosses were all nice to me. I had great benefits and left with a generous 401K check. The hardest part of my job was filling in all the down time we had. So I decided to temp and accepted an offer from a law firm.
Lively easy going atmosphere
Lots of free time; lots of time for some to gossip
