Mental Health Technician in Sacramento, CA

The people on the front lines of UCD are wonderful people. It’s the people in administrative capacity are very untrustworthy!!! They try to find things wrong with your work to hold over your head to fire you.
Section supervisor, Clinial Lab in Sacramento, CA
on November 4, 2022
Probably the best of the California University Medical Hospitals. The pace is considerably faster than the smaller Student Health Centers that you find at UcSanta Cruz, or any of the state colleges, however.
Clinical Nurse II in Sacramento, CA
on October 27, 2022
I enjoyed working here. Felt very well supported. Never terrorized by management. I work in the ED so I was able to improve my skills and knowledge. Busy, rough patient population since it is a state hospital and #1 trauma hospital in the area.
Mental Health Worker in Sacramento, CA
on October 5, 2022
As a sitter/MHW, you watch over people. Nothing too fancy. There will be times where the patient is going to be hard on you, but if you've worked mental health before, then this should be a walk in the park in comparison
Registered Nurse in Sacramento, CA
on October 3, 2022
No Nurse assistants, you do your own lab draws. Always short staffed. Since this hospital is a Level 1 trauma, the acuity on even the Med surge floors are always high. We can go 8 hours some days before even going on our lunch break. The pros are, they have good benefits. The doctors and ancillary staff are easy to communicate with.
