I had a phone interview with 2 people and then a panel interview with 6 people. They had about 12 questions from a worksheet to ask. It was pretty relaxed.

Positive. The campus is growing and lots of good research is being done there. While the campus is slow to respond to many things, they do seem to listen and make improvements into parts of the culture for the betterment of the students. That being said, the entire UC system can improve much more.
