Extremely bad management. The manager is able to get their anniversary week, Thanksgiving week, and Christmas week off. A lot staff were not able to get even 3 continue business days off in the past 3 years. Clinic stays open on 12/23 and 12/30, but manager was able to take a week vaca to Canada. Manager can write something like "your time off for family funeral is not authorized." I feel ashame telling people that I work for UCLA.
They only hire the people that they know for all open positions. Some employees don't even have the adequate skill for the position. They hinder the clinic pace so much, buy no one can do anything because they are manager's best friends. Patients will suffer

If you were in charge, what would you do to make UCLA Health a better place to work?
Change the managers and supervisor. Patients were complaining, and they just tried to hide from UCLA. And managers criticize you in front of everyone!
If UCLA was fair and followed it's own agreed upon guidelines, it would be a great place to work.
