Bizarre interview process -. I decided to use Uline as practice for further interviews with other more select companies. I read many reviews before going though interview process, so I already knew what to expect to some degree. The interviewers with were not kind or respectful , mildly condescending and critical. Interview question asked, "What were your high school grades". I am in my mid 40s so I thought that was strange. Also most of the staff onsite seems unusually young. They also did not seem to care for veteran status as a comment was made that military does not train technical things which is very untrue. If I could do over again, I wouldn't waste the time. A practice interview would be best served at a company that is a little more practical and modern with their interview process.

They are strict and picky! Do not show up to the interview without a tie. Wear a suit if you can. Remove all piercings, cover up tattoos, no crazy hair. If you are not presentable, you will get a courtesy interview but I guarantee you will be walked out after the first interview. If they are actually considering you, you will interviewed multiple times. Also, research the company you are applying for.

For corporate jobs pretty standard 8-5 with an hour for lunch. They consider your lunch as part of your work day so that comes out to 45 hours a week. Not required to do much over that.

*Micro manages to the extent that a new term needs to be invented.
*Think, robotic. You're only allowed 4 personal items on your desk and the desk "checks" and restrictions get more ridiculous every year.
