It depends on how many credit cards you push on people, how many people you get to join “Ulta Rewards” and how much the manager likes you. WEEKLY maybe 8 hours, they hire too many people and like other people said, it depends on if the manager likes you.

I went into the store and had a one on one interview with the general manager. She asked me some of my favorite brands and what I would do if a customer was looking for a product we didn't carry (Sephora is not the right answer ;) ). She asked about what I did at my last job and then offered me the job at the end.

My store is lax on some of these guidelines as employees wear leggings without a log tunic and nearly everyone, including the managers, wear slide on sneakers (no laces though).

This portion is copied directly from the Ulta rule book:

GUIDELINES
Personal appearance must reflect the Ulta Beauty brand.

Clothing must be professional, in good condition, pressed, with no fading, tears, fraying, or holes. Denim, twill, and other casual fabrics are not acceptable.

All associates must adhere to the standards outlined in this document upon punching in for their scheduled shift, unless as noted in the exceptions section of this document, or as communicated by the home office.

TOPS
Acceptable tops:
Shirt or blouse (sleeveless is acceptable)
Camisole (only when worn under a blouse, jacket, blazer or sweater)
Vest, jacket, blazer or sweater
Any tops made available to purchase by Ulta Beauty
Requirements:
Must be one of the following colors:
Black
White
Mad for Magenta
Orange pop
Must provide appropriate coverage; low cut tops are not permitted
Must cover the midriff during all times

PANTS
Acceptable pants:
Full-length, mid-length (capris) or ankle-length pants
Leggings or jeggings when worn with a dress
Requirements:
Must be solid black
Must not touch the floor

SKIRTS
Must be solid black
Must not be any more than 3” above the knee
May be work with black, white, or nude tights or hosiery

DRESSES
Must have sleeves
Must be solid black or white
Must not be any more than 3” above the knee
May be worn with solid black leggings or jeggings
May be worn with solid black, white, or nude tights or hosiery
May be worn with a professional jacket, blacker, or sweater

SHOES
Dress sandals
Dress shoes or boots (flat or heels)

It really depends on when you applied. I applied sometime in September and didn’t get a call back until a month later. If you want somewhat of a speedy process I’d suggest applying towards seasonal, meaning near September/October. They usually reach out quicker. Plus, if applying for seasonal they give you the option to stay as a regular employee!
