I have been at Ulta Beauty for almost 1 year come this August of 2019. (Brand new store) I am an AE for benefit brow bar and have not been drug tested. (6 months of working there) If management suspects you are doing drugs (smoking weed) of course they will drug test, write you up and “investigate you” aka... you prob can’t work there much longer or will just be terminated right then in the office. Regardless, I love ulta and I think it’s an amazing beauty company.. I had bumped heads w supervisors but now am doing amazing and love my team!

Don’t let the traffic stopping YouTube videos scare you— you will not be terminated bc you aren’t “ reaching product and service goals wtd” Work hard, make an effort to reach goals and dont stand around nervously waiting for a chance to get a guest in your chair. Be confident in yourself as well. Confidence is key ;) and laughter is the best cosmetic

They should be doing that on everyone and most of all management they tend to hire people with no experience in the beauty salon Arena whatsoever and it shows. Not a good place to work when you have experience in the field the pay is terrible there is no commission on sales of beauty products skincare Prestige makeup but you are required to sell if you are an esthetician which I was making the commission goal is next to Impossible because they do not Market the esthetician or the fact that they even have Aesthetics. Impossible to move up and the turnover is incredibly fast. Don't go here if you are expecting to make a living.
