Great place to work. The clients are great to work with. The manager is great and fair. Works hard to help staff achieve their job. Doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty and helping out. The pay is not that great but the environment, staff, clients and manager makes up for it. Need more incentives for everyone

Horrible management!!! Only positive is the participants whom I love! The pay is not so good and the hours suck. The house was cleaned. No work life balance!!

It's a safe and secure job with adequate pay for Mexico. Five weeks of paid vacation is nice and management is quite flexible with taking additional unpaid time off, at least for the foreign ( English teachers). There are three UMAR campuses all on the coast of Oaxaca Mexico so I'd say that's the biggest perk.

I enjoyed the people, staff amd the close nit community. There was always something to do. The community always supported the goals and vision of Umar thru the Methodest Church.

Management is poor, just likes to keep drama going. Likes to play staff against staff. Disrespectful by their snippy little comments all the time. Very rude. There’s a reason why they’re new employees there every 6 months, the management.
