Teach Managers and Supervisors that in order to be a Team player you have to have leadership skills. Place them in position to see instead of guessing. No one wants to be unappreciated in their work efforts or retialiated for opinions. If employees can't have a say when it comes to the job they do everyday their performance isn't going to be the best due to lack of communication efforts, teamwork, Management and leadership roles that are not meeting the needs of subordinates.
To be fair and honest to everyone and treat everyone equal.

I would take my Leadership skills and keep Communication on at all times and I would unit everyone and Encourage them to work as a Team as one and I wouldn't ask them to do nothing that I was willing to do myself. I would be there on the with my Coworkers working along with them, I believe if your team see you working along beside them and working as hard as them ,they more likely to be team players.
