Reviews about Pay & Benefits for Flight Attendant in United Airlines
Good benefits, okay pay
Flight Attendant (Former Employee) - Leesburg, VA - December 4, 2022
The work life balance is not so great when you are starting out, very hard if you have a family (kids, partner). The benefits are great- medical, flight. The pay is very low starting out.

Flexible and interesting
Flight Attendant (Former Employee) - IAD - October 25, 2020
You can build your own schedule especially once you have more years into your career. It is very much based on seniority. Pay increases per year until you reached certain tenure (right now it’s 13 years). It has a potential to make decent paycheck. Getting to see the world while getting paid is priceless.
Pros
Flexibility, Steady pay increase
Cons
Work during most holidays, physically challenging sometimes

Flexible when senior enough
Flight Attendant (Current Employee) - IAD - March 27, 2019
If you have enough seniority it's a very flexible career. Reduced fare travel benefits are a bonus. Travel the world and meet new people weekly (at least).
Pros
Reduced fare travel, flexible schedule
Cons
Standby on oversold flights, reserve quality of life is inhumane
