I think no one can be considered without taking an exam and if considered before deployment you have passed a job training before deployment and job briefing.

YES. You must under take the competences /proficiency test. Before deployment, there is a pre-deployment training. An induction course of the country concerned, the mandate of the mission and UN approved courses must be done. Secondly , a pre-deployment training exercise to be conducted by DPKO in my country before the real exams. On the invitations of my country a general SAAT exams to be conducted for selected , short listed candidate who passed the pre-deployment training.
