What experience do you need operating heavy equipment or will they train you with none?
They won't train you. They will butter you up at first, then they will slowly show you how the place really operates. Hope you like having a sore rearend at the end of the day, that's what it'll feel like if you make the mistake of taking a job with this joke of a company.
I just hated being lied to. The ones upstairs at branch #147. Are terrible. It's like everyday is their first day on the job. They have no clue what their doing. I've been in the rental business a long time. I've never seen a company ran like the upstairs does. Man I didn't want to leave United rentals. But the upstairs kept me stressed out. Only because they don't have a clue what their doing. I recommend you to RUN away from here
Like throwing up. It's really bad when you dread going to work and have anxiety attacks on the drive there.
At United rentals it is what you make it...they are here to make money not cater to you..can be the best or the worst ...and wages in md are way above average...
If you were in charge, what would you do to make United Rentals, Inc. a better place to work?
Treat the workers with more respect & as a team member. & address their needs.
Yes, but you will pay dearly for it. The open enrollment process is a joke. The representative that goes over the different plans admitted they don't know the difference between them. I had to get an HSA to help cover my $1500 deductible. At least 20% of my paycheck goes towards insurance aside from taxes.....
What advice would you give the CEO of United Rentals, Inc. about how to improve it?
Your greed and arrogance are going to be this company's downfall. The bubble is going to burst. Sunbelt is going to put you out of business.
How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at United Rentals, Inc.? What are the steps along the way?
I have done a phone interview and in person interview. Will they let me know if the job has been filled?
