Only those who abide by the Army values will suceed in this career path. Days are long and hard yet rewarding. Benefits are hard to beat from education, medical, dental, etc.

stable job, dumb management, not true leaders (cowardly), no clear track for forward advancement, no college money available like there is if you wear the uniform

Work life is very very unhealthy. The medical care is very terrible and most things will not be treated properly unless you are sent out to a civilian doctor. Leadership is absolutely toxic and doesnt care for those below them.

You meet alot of different people and they can be fun to work around but the higher ups are incompetent to what goes on at the lower levels. They also suck at communication they wait last minute for literally everything
