  • It looked like you waited for four months before you finally got in.

  • 4/3/20 applied
4/25 - completed USPS Motor Vehicle Record Search

5/3 - received conditional job offer to accept or decline

    5/6 completed questionnaire

    5/11 received letter for fingerprinting

    5/15 went in for fingerprinting

After the fingerprinting printing, it was an extremely long wait and no one to contact. I called and email and no response.

7/9 received my orientation letter to start on 8/3

  • This is my timeline
    3-8-2020 Applied

3-30-2020 Motor Vehicle Record Search Email

4-2-2020 Lots of Emails. 4. Conditional Job Offer, ect

4-4-2020 Drug Test at Local Clinic

4-7-2020 Fingerprints at Local Post Office

Told to wait for Orientation Letter. No update, no one to call or Email. I tried. Just wait.

5-1-2020. Got my Orientation letter. It was a Friday and Orientation was 8am Tuesday. 4 days notice.

  • I got interviewed 04-16-19, and was told at the interview it would take two weeks. I did not receive any emails 05-13-19, which is almost a month later. In my email I got to set up my drug test and take my background check.

  • A week or two...its better to check religiously a week after the interview daily.

  • I applied for the position 12/17/18.. email for background check on 12/20/18.. results came back 01/03/19.. Had my interview and got selected 01/10/19. Now just waiting to do a drug screening. Just remember each facility is different in terms of how long you’ll wait and the steps in the process such as I did an interview and got selected before a drug screening. And also, background checks with common names such as John Smith, will take a bit longer to process. Good luck everybody!

  • If you applied this year (2018) and submitted background and drug information to GIS it is taking them 7 to 10 days to process background checks, so if you do not hear anything immediately about your position status -- it is because GIS is taking longer.

  • I think people are answering different questions.
AFTER the interview, how many days before you hear if you've been offered the job?

Back to waiting game after drug test and background results come back next week.. hoping for an email for orientation.Fingers crossed...this has been going on since 10/5/18
