When you create your profile, you will have the option to put all of your military information in. And after you apply and the review your resume, you will be invited to take a test at a facility closest to you. Not a post office but a testing facility. And from there you login to your profile (which will have your military info) and take the test. and the final score will have the 5-points (veteran) or 10-point (disabled veteran) added to it already. Go online to usps.com and sign up for a career profile, after this you will take assesments when applying for a career. You will be given options for time and place to take the test once all assesmentsare complete.
