9/2 applied
9/3 Assessment test
9/7 473 Exam
9/14 MVRS check
10/1 request sent by HR to interview
10/5 Interview
10/6 Condtional offer *At this point they’re suppose to send you three emails. One for a drug test, one for a background check, and one for a conditional offer. ***(these emails might not be sent at the same time. I had to contact HR before I received my Drug test and background check.)
12/11 Sent drug test and Backround check emails.
12/11 Completed BC
12/12 Completed DT
12/14 Second BC
Will finish once I have completed the entire process. It takes a long time, but it will definitely be worth it! **Do not quit your job until you have an official job offer.** I made this mistake that’s why I’m telling you all. Good luck, to each and everyone of you trying to get in, be patient, have faith, and eventually, it will come!

Applied on September 12th, got interview phone call on October 4th, and NOTHING since then. Been sitting on the hiring list EVER since. Two weeks ago Called the PM and be said he’s working to get me on board, just need to talk to the HR lady. STILL NOTHING. I really don’t know what the hold up is. I just hope I can get something 3 or 5 months from now. That’s like literally my expectation for this job right now.

I've been working for the po about a year RCA in GA and then come summer time it became to much driving in the heat so July18 resigned to reapply for PSE,but this position is hard to get so after waiting a month September18 applied took DT and signed for background check I already had my 473 exam on file so I did not have to retake it..End of September got email for interview PSE October went to interview for multi area code and with my recent departing I had wanted to go back to my office only with a different craft...So after waiting a couple weeks(now its November) got conditional offer accept/decline then 2 days later got the email for the SF85 (NACI) check that next day received email for processing which I will attend this week....So to anyone with all the waiting questions it does take a while and it does really depend on where you live and how bad they need help...When I first started as RCA last year it took from July when I applied to finally starting in October and in between did all the tests, exams etc....So it's all really just having patience. I will tell you this though if you make to the pre-hire list that means your probably gonna get accepted BUT you will be on a list meaning you've completed all the steps now your just waiting for a spot. You can sit on that list for months so take all the interviews you can if you apply to different areas and postions which I recommend..Your not guaranteed anything until you get your orientation date that's probably the only email you'll know follows starting to work..If you do get a conditional offer that still doesn't mean you'll start soon I did accept another offer out of Atlanta and still to this day never heard anything else about processing or OJT so luckily I went to other interviews and got another offer from my old office and that's the one I am attending processing at this week...I overturned the other offer to accept the one I have now..So like I said nothing is certain...The good thing is stay positive and just try to not let it drive you crazy..When you do get in and start working STAY there if that's the career you like because I made the mistake of resigning for the other position and I shoulda just stayed and switched from within now I've waited months without work..so speaking from experience these jobs are hard to get but worth it..Good money and future...Not every office your gonna find friend or even good management but just go in make it through your day and go home to your family...This is a government job and will secure your future so don't give it up. Take it day by day and just know there are alot of people that are waiting for a position just like you were once...I hope this had helped a little ....

11-02-18 SCHEDULED DRUG TEST
11-02-18 ACCEPTED OFFER

From what I understand, it really just depends on the location's needs.
I'm in M'boro, TN and here's my timeline thus far...
9-20 Applied
9-23 Assessment Invitation
9-25 Took Test and passed w/83.6
10-1 MVRS
10-2 Consumer Check
10-16 Invitation to interview
10-19 Interview
10-22 Conditional Offer made/accepted
10-22 Background/Drug test notification
10-23 Drug Test taken
11-3 NACI

As of today, 11/12, I'm waiting to be scheduled for orientation. It's a process and we just have to be patient. I'm hopeful I will be started by the beginning of December. Good luck to you!

This is a very, very, very long, stressful and drawn out hiring process!!! I'm still waiting on an email to take the DT & BG Check. I was told by HR that I was being recommended for the position. I feel like I'm in the Car & the Hat Story...only difference is I'm looking at my email and my online profile!!

10/5 Submitted Application for HCA
10/5 Online Assessment (Passed)
10/5 Email Inviting me to take Exam 473
10/8 Pre-Hire List
10/11 Took Exam 473 (Passed)
10/11 Email Invitation for Interview
10/16 HCA Interview

(I have been waiting since the 16th of October)

10/23 Applied for PSE (Application Entry)
10/25 Applied for HCA (Application Entry) 10/27 Applied for HCA (Application Entry)
10/29 Applied for HCA (Application Entry)

I hope this helps. It appears we are all just about in the same boat! Hopefully, it will all pay off!!! Good Luck Future...CCA's, RCA's, PSE's, and HCA's!!!
