Keep checking you email, if you missed one thing, you will wait longer longer longer!
Every post office is different
After my interview , next morning I received a conditional offer.
Never did a second background check?
Then it driving course , Smalk video if it is llv . If it promaster, not sure.
But it basically depend on the office you assigned.
Do they use llv, do they use pro master.
2 ton is different exam.
Then it either driving course of orientation for at least two and half days.
Then driver road test two parts
Then shadow day , then carrier academy for three weeks, that what I heard from Brooklyn post master.
Right now I did all drug test and background check.
I did all mine one one day ,
If you do everything quick, first come first serve .
If you passed 70 you are getting chosen.
Paitience is the key in this
What do they ask at the USPS outlet after you complete your online assessment ? you might have to schedule yourself for another test near a USPS outlet near you, what did they ask you in test or make you do ? is there anything specific you have to know or study for that test ?
Pre hiring process is the first step you take a tabe test, then you wait a week
Hi I'm in the the same spit almost I took my 473 exam on 9/10/18 I scored a 83% that was my raw score i did ny interview and background check i was told i only have orientation and my urinalysis left I'm not a verteran tho but I'm still on the prehire list and what I'm getting from all this is there's no real time that they start the next step it just all depends??? I just wish I knew how much longer it could be
I took the test and got 80.9 and i also have had 3 interviews. I also got the derived prefeence points bc my husbands a veteran. I was told at the 2nd interview they liked me and check email everyday. Never heard anyrhing so i emailed the lady and she said i would be hearing from HR anyday and check spam and still nothing. Its discouraging for sure! I also have pre hire on many apps i submitted so its just waiting. Good luck too you tho!
I actually interviewed and was hired.. 6 weeks ago. after you actually get hired, then you go for fingerprints.. then you wait.. then you get an email asking for background info for THIS agaency.. then you wait... then you get another email asking for the same info which is MANDATORY.. then you wait... and wait... and wait.. then you get another email from a completely different agency asking for the same info again! THEN YOU WAIT.
On the job application, some have fine print saying to add certain Emails to your Not Spam list because they outsource some of their work, so it may have been put in the spam folder and missed.
Necro post for people like me who had this problem with no internet solution available.
Our situations are pretty much the same with the exception that after the interviews you should've received an email offering you the position as well as scheduling your drug test and background check. From reading other posts on this forum that could be an indeterminate amount of time or not the same order. I interviewed on 9 Nov but didn't receive the offer for another week and a half. Its all a waiting game which i'm sure you're pretty accustomed to with your background. Patience is a virtue i'm learning through this process. Good luck and thank you for your service
You should be waiting until one of the carriers is ready to retire or get transferred,or if new routes open up that is always a possibility
