I went from pre screening to hire list is that a good thing?!. I already did my interview... but never did a drug test. Plus my interview was a month ago.. just hoping to hear some good news.

They take a while but be patient they will call you soon
Interview Aug 25th,2017, release driving record, from pre hire to prescreen, two weeks later email job offer, background,driving record again. Went back to pre hire got Called 2 days later bring interview paper, got finger prints, fill paper work. Same day complete Nac forms, email for drug test and where to go, drove to drug test waiting now for everything. Today September 8th. Every post office is different. Just hold on.
If you do drugs you will never be hired !!
Be patient....things aren't quick with this large of a business.. Its like the Army: hurry up and wait.
They'll send you an acceptance letter. Once you accept the position then everything happens pretty quickly. But until then just keeping checking your email. The waiting is definitely not a quick process.. And a month isn't long ..I think mine was a month and a half..

It's a long process. And the usps hires alot of new employees every month and between backgoung checks, drug testing and human resources it takes about 2 to 3 months.
