  • You do not become a regular after a year as a CCA. If a regular retires you can apply for their position.

  • Way more than an RCA, but still not the good ones you hear about. You do go regular after 1 year though, so if you can hold out that long then you are set.

  • Depends on the contract in force when the employee is hired. Specifics can be found at the NALC.org website.

  • CCA came in to being after I left Grove City Post office. Galloway Post office was all clerk and rural carriers. CCA's earn limited annual leave/sick leave. Their salaries are not equal to regular carriers and have no assigned routes.

  • Medical, Retirement, disability

  • YOU HAVE TO PASS A 3 MONTH PROBATION PERIOD THEN AFTER A YEAR YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A WEEK OFF AND BENEFITS, BUT YOU AREN'T ALLOWED A DAY OFF BEFORE A YEAR OF WORKING THERE. MEANING YOU CANT REQUEST YOUR DAY OFF, IT IS GIVEN AND YOU CANT CALL OUT SICK

  • Earn vacation and uniform allowance
