What benefits/perks/incentives come with being a postal worker? I have two active job offers and am weighing my options. If I accept, I will begin as a PSE SSDA so I would like to know what is available for those as well as career employees after their conversion. Any information provided is helpful. I'm curious if there are additional federal benefits that may prove useful. Are there pay increases for PSE's?

It depends on which district or state you are working in .. some states will enforce fair employment laws and others take mistreatment to the edge without regard to maintaining a safe work environment. The postal service workers union bargaining agreement affects how much members are paid, when and how they are employed. I was paid more as a seasonal in another state 10 years ago than this year in my current state. It's a job for the same organization but local districts that are not concerned about fair treatment and who are motivated by pure greed for themselves and a budget plan, will offer only minimum pay/work schedules.
