USPS Mail Handler (Former Employee) –  San Jose, CAMarch 14, 2013
I enjoyed working for USPS, I worked a Temp. employee and getting extension to work for every 6 months, no Benefits but I had overtime and paid holidays, I was trained to do various tasks in Post office and I learned various type of jobs there to perform and keep me busy.
Pros
good physical work and ok pay and fun place to work
Cons
no long term job guarantee and benefits.

Mail Handler (Former Employee) –  Grand Rapids, MIApril 23, 2018
I loaded/unloaded trucks and made sure that there were enough trailers for the outgoing mail, if not I would have to call for more. For the most part management let us do our jobs. They were just there incase we ran into issues. The hardest part of the job was making sure we had everything we needed to do the job properly. The best part was knowing it was a job well done.
