Driver (Former Employee) –  Rocksprings WyomingMay 8, 2019
If you're self made and don't have to work this is the job for you but if you need to pay bills and eat in the same week you'll need to find something else also the work isn't constant
Pros
A lot of time off
Cons
Can't afford to do anything on days off also on call 24/7

Great place to work!
Outside Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Corpus Christi, TXMarch 19, 2019
Loved serving this company, which was American Eagle, at the time. Drove all over South Texas during the big oil boom of 2012 to years beyond. I had to quit due to business after the death of a very close family member out of town.
Pros
Great managers, paid lunches along with sales incentives given to possible clients.
Cons
Used my own vehicle, It was 4wd, but small for all day backroads.

Driver (Former Employee) –  Lafayette, LA 70503January 10, 2019
A typical day consist of being contacted by the dispatcher about an available load. You make the decision to take the load or not. You then pick up the load and deliver the items to its destination.

Pay was good when you could get work
Driver (Former Employee) –  Odessa, TXAugust 1, 2018
Manager played favorites. If you weren’t kissing his rear end you weren’t getting work. If you did get work it was because the favorites were off. Spent 90% of your time either sitting in a chase van or the man camp. Most times when you worked you worked illegal being out 27+ hours on 1 job just to move 2 trucks and make maybe 200 dollars. Electronic logs were hardly ever used even when they were supposed to be.

I learned to be very patient when you are on the highway, customer satisfaction
Customer service (Former Employee) –  Amelia, LAJune 5, 2018
the hardest part of the job is never knowing when you will get a phone call for work. the most enjoyable is your own boss. A very safe workplace environment. I learned to have plenty of patience on the highway.

Driver (Former Employee) –  Broussard, LAApril 13, 2018
Always on the run. You not know when you will be going to work. It was hard to make planes. You had to take just any run because if you don't go anywhere you do not get paid.

Fleet manager /dispatch
Dispatcher/Fleet Manager (Former Employee) –  Broussard, LAFebruary 13, 2018
Very stressful fast paced environment. this place is not your average job very unpleasant experience.unprofessional to say the least. On any given day you will walk in and feel like what have I gotten myself into. the turnover rate for drivers and dispatch is very high. simple things like common courtesy and respect for others don't apply here for some reason.
Pros
Lunch break if you are not too busy

Okay place to work
Billing Specialist (Former Employee) –  Odessa, TXJanuary 8, 2018
They don't really care about their employees much. It's more about making money for upper management than it is taking care of the employees that actually do the work.

If you want to work for free this is the place to be
Driver (Former Employee) –  Midland, TXNovember 29, 2017
If you don't "follow the order" so to say, they will find a way to make you quit. They are no different than Walmart, Swift, or an other major carrier. As long as they get their money, they could care less if you get yours. Some folks that work there are nice and will do anything for you, but most are only concerned about their own jobs and butts. Tread Carefully.
Pros
When you get paid, it's good pay
Cons
Cant guarantee pay
