It was a good first job out of college. I worked with the marketing team and learned a lot about online business. It helped me jumpstart a career in tech.

Toxic Culture / Weak leadership

Since starting here I was scolded for the way I use the coffee machine , lights being off, wearing headphones, working from home even though there is a policy the CEO hates it. There is little to no organization. No priorities. I was told to "learn" with no projects. I was hired as a PHP developer and none of thier platform is written in PHP. The management team just has no clue what they need or who to hire. They have a severe mistrust in their staff and it creates a horrible environment. The CEO is extremely insecure and as I was leaving peacefully decided to put his hands on me. The turnover is constant. In my opinion its not worth it to work here

Great opportunity

Excellent company to develop your skills, UWT gives you the freedom to embrace as much responsibility as you are willing to (and of course is ready for) motivating you to innovate, do better and deliver results. The owners like the sense of ownership and compensate accordingly. Very nice working place atmosphere!

Excellent Job Culture and Team!

If you are a good team-player UWT is the perfect fit for you. Anybody is available to support you with your doubts or extra knowledge. Sales and customer support team always are able to test some new feature of the system with the feedback included. The managers are available to listen new ideas and improvements for the system and the workflow. I had a growing step and very productive time around there. People is valued and care in UWT, people is the key assets of UWT, and will be for sure.

Great place to Intern!

I worked here as an intern and had a great time! When I started, I was really surprised that such a successful, and high-revenue company ran with only a handful of employees; but I quickly learned the concept of quality over quantity! The individuals I met here were masters at their raft and some of the most hardworking people I've met, and the owner was no exception to this. He held me (and others) to a higher standard and I'll never forget him for it.

Friendly workplace with supportive management and learning opportunities

I started working here a couple months ago and I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far. It’s a stable job with interesting things to work on and good, steady pay. There’s learning opportunities for those looking to add to their skills and room for growth. The company offers employees good benefits (healthcare, 401k, etc.) and a work-life balance. We get holidays off and a flexible hybrid remote schedule for those who want it. You can take leave as per need. Coworkers are friendly and welcoming. Management is helpful, supportive and effective. There’s recurring office lunches and holiday parties. And, they are always trying to make the office a more comfortable and inviting space for all. Overall, a great place to work.

Fun place to work with great people

After several years working at United World, I can say it's a great place to work with a lot of opportunity for career growth and development. The office is always lively and I've made some great connections, both professional and social. The annual Xmas party is an awesome perk :)

Great place to work with amazing coworkers

I've been with United World Telecom for 20+ years. I've been working in account management for more than 10 years now. It's a great company with interesting coworkers and effective managers. They do what they're going to say, no false commitments. The paychecks are always issued on time and it's been a steady source of income.

Productive and Cool Place to Work

I have worked for UWT for 7 years and I had a wonderful experience working with the company and have experienced tremendous personal and professional growth.The staff are amazing, they are like family to me...everyone is so kind and helpful. I love the culture there, I got a degree in Project Management and I decided to take my talent to the construction industry. I would choose UWT again as an employer in the next life.

Good place to work with interesting coworkers.

It's a good place to work. They are an established company and we get paid on time like clockwork. The office is a fun environment with interesting colleagues. We also just got standing desks.

High Energy Environment

A typical day would consists of reviewing and responding to emails from prospects and coworkers of various department, new and updated trouble tickets, and following up with clients and prospects on scheduled calls. A monthly profitability report consisting of profit margin comparisons, new accounts as well as new orders from existing accounts, sent proposals, and areas of concern would be due fro review with Director of Sales on the 15th of ever month.

Accumulating Corporate accounts management skills

Responsible for prospecting, cultivating and generating sales in large and enterprise level corporate accounts. Served as the primary contact for key client relationships facilitated product demonstrations and deal closings. Exceeded sales quota ,attending networking events, hosting telecom expos and other industry specific events. Created and presented value-added business solutions to specific named accounts, while building strong rapport with customers using a consultative sales approach. Primarily challenged with expanding relationships and sales, build and maintain a pipeline of new business, interact with sales leadership to develop more effective sales strategies to drive target products and promotions, in addition to managing and facilitating technical resources throughout the sales process; all while maintaining accurate customer relationship management systems, including daily activities and account updates.
