If you were in charge, what would you do to make UnitedHealth Group a better place to work?

33 answers

  • Scheduled all the patients in a particular neighborhood on the same day

  • More in depth training. Supervisors that actually help. More lenient about doctors appointments.

  • I would actually bring the remote employee back in the office. A lot of the reasons for the micro-management are because everyone works from home therefore management feels as though they have to be extra careful.

  • Don't assume what works in Texas will have the same results in other markets.

  • I would revamp the training.

  • Open communication and break up cliques

  • I wonder if I could make that much of a difference if in charge of a big company like this. You really can not control the actions of everyone even if you do all the right things but I would do something about unethical issues and enforce policies about them.

  • Better educated and informed supervisors & improved hourly wages.

  • Divide people into cubical in offices. Separate workers better

  • Decentralize the decision making.
force hiring managers to interview qualified candidates for every position.
