I would lower the expectations for the number of claims to be followed up and concentrate more on how they are followed up. Claims should be followed up cleanly and correctly and not just transferred from one insurer to another without investigating the reason the claims were denied in the first place.

I would take in consideration how the changes that are made would affect those people's jobs and put myself into their seats. I would compromise to meet in the middle for those decisions and for more competitive pay and benefits for our workers. If they are not happy and healthy, then the business fails and confidence in the product we provide decreases.
