Had numbers to meet, with getting students to register to attend college. Worked very hard to guide students through the process. I enjoyed working with the kids.

Great place to work but very demanding. Some departments are more flexible than others. The schedule is an intense every 3 weeks.-- Yes...orientation, registration, and graduation. It can be come very routine and overwhelming.

very different

With working for a different type of school prior to employment here it was a very different environment. I enjoyed working with the company however the software that was being used was very manual and behind in times. You did have a more close net relationship with your co-workers because the school is small and the holidays are very festive.

holidays, smaller company

lots of people with family ties within company, too much work due to software limits and tight time lines

Senior Advisor

Developed programs that met the academic, intellectual and social needs of students. Assessed student performance through anecdotal records, student-counselor conferencing, and peer evaluation. Assisted students in counseling and with learning disabilities. Planned events such as Veteran Affairs Fair. Assisted department with time management, delegated tasks, and provided motivational skills when needed. Complete daily reports to remain compliant.
