Maybe about a week or two. First the professor has to list the job on the SECE website for our school. Then you have to apply. Then it takes about a week to process.

1 year +, apply by mail with phone interviews 5 months apart. pay for your own move then apply for some reimbursement from UH.

It takes a week or two to get hired. From the moment you submit your application, it goes through system and supervisors would choose who they'd like to interview. You are then asked what days and times you will be available. A week after the interview, they will email you letting you know whether you were hired or not.
