The physical is a routine physical to make sure you don't any underlying health concerns or physical limitations that could inhibit your ability to perform job specific duties. It's basically is an eyesight, range of motion, balance and flexibility test. Very easy, takes no more than 20-30 minutes. I had blood drawn that day (for titer checks to ensure I didn't need additional vaccines) and there was a drug test I took after accepting the position. Both are easy, fairly quick and the only requirement is both the exam and drug test be completed before your official start date.
