Good academic group. Student success was a high priority, and my students felt comfortable and encouraged to seek learning opportunities. Long hours not good pay, but rewarding work.

A moleuclar biology research lab focused on the Borrelia burgdorfori, the causative agent of Lyme disease. Work comprised mostly of isolating and describing the products of individual genes of the pathogen.

Typical work day for a research assistant is processing data, scheduling or testing subjects or writing scripts. The Physical Therapy Department is friendly and a great place to work! Lots of current research going on and a great way to help individuals.

Great place to work, wonderful people. Work was engaging and well organized. I assisted in animal surgeries, and laboratory experiments, and organized the Laboratory.
