The worse culture, work environment and lack of cooperation and opportunity in this venture. The politics were the worse, you are a mere peon and they will crush you if necessary. Zero support from HR. I ended with a mental breakdown. Stay away from this place.

What is the best part of working at the company?Relaxed but supporting environment. Superb weather and safe neighborhood. Only drawback is the extremely high housing costs makes average stipend not livable. But this only happened in recent years due to the new FL governor. Previously, FL was very affordable. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Not stressful per se. The only stressful part was the rocket high living cost in recent years due to the new FL governor. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Integrity, supportive and honesty.

Love the students and the goal of educating people. Definitely feels like you are helping people and being part of something bigger than yourself. Upper administration and Deans are oppressive and treat staff as servants not as a part of the university. The 51-page 2022-2027 strategic plan has 2 sentences for staff, which shows how little they think of staff. Our dean says that staff are easily replaceable so leave if you have complaints. I stay because of my supervisor and the students, and in spite of the lacking leadership of the upper administration.
