Located in the heat of SLC, the U is a perfect place to learn and grow. The university is big, beautiful, and well equipped for scientific experiments. Pay can be made a bit better. There is almost same salary for 5 years.

What is the best part of working at the company?Great processes and support from leadership until you are no longer "young enough". No value for the experienced, 50+ year old. You will be "managed out" What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Didn't know there was stress and really enjoyed my job until leaders I trusted turned on me and I didn't meet their definition of "youth" any longer. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It was great until about 2021 and then a new CEO was put in and many of the older, experienced staff members were "managed out". The benefits were phenomenal and the best part about working for University of Utah. Culture in the department was rough with high turnover. Leadership was toxic and couldn't be trusted. Made for poor working conditions.
