Operations Staff (Former Employee) – Souderton, PA – June 24, 2018
Senior management makes poor business decisions based on very narrow vision. These decisions are made without consideration of the employees affected by those decisions. Things are done because senior management "says so" and not because they are actually good choices. Employees are told they are replaceable and are not valued. The only way to advance is if you are a favorite of the management team. Those that are promoted are not necessarily good at their job - they are just the ones willing to play the game. Management is consistently inconsistent and places people in positions for which they are not qualified. Integrity, honesty, and knowledge are no longer needed to work at Univest.
Office Assistant (Former Employee) – Souderton, PA – August 15, 2017
Don't work for this company if you want to be treated well. If there is ever a question or concern, don't bring it up to management. Any concern you have is seen as lack of commitment to your job, and you will be fired.
Sales and Service Representative (Former Employee) – Bucks County, PA – February 25, 2016
I worked at Univest for two years. Their culture is very conservative based on their Mennonite background. If you're interested in the financial services field, I suggest an employer who embraces diversity in all areas.
employee (Former Employee) – southeast pa – October 22, 2014
This company expects their employees to be loyal to them, but they are not loyal to their employees. They rarely increase pay. They cut positions for lower ranked staff even after hiring new people. They rarely promote from within unless you are a management favorite. If you enjoy working somewhere with zero advancement and terrible management, this is the place for you. They went from top ten best places to work on PA to 26th.
