I worked with Urban for 4 years. I was a really hard worker and it seemed like everyone else recognized my work ethic except for management. I never got promoted, even after being very vocal about wanting to move up. I got tired of working so hard and getting nowhere.

There are four ranks at Urban -- Sales Associate, Team Leader, Department Manager & Store Manager
Unless you're Department or Store Managing, you're not going to make enough money to live, therefore I am leaving due to the small compensation, it's just a waste of your time to work for such low wages. There aren't enough opportunities to work up into the high-paying positions unless you're willing to work for $8 an hour for at least a few years beforehand.

Hours are ok, you can never work more than 8 a day so that was kind of a bummer.

Only in the event of an accident. They do not test for employment and use that fact in order to threaten employees from complaining about the job. Example: Employee complains about work environment. Management replies with " Good luck trying to find another job that doesn't drug test."
