Want to pay to work for someone?
Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLMarch 12, 2018
Any sales job that does not pay a base is a terrible company. USHA does not sell health insurance. They sell life insurance with health benefits. Scam company. Sales managers will encourage you that you can make 6 figures your first year but nickel and dime you to pay for leads, (phone burner $80/mo) and that's just the beginning. Go get a job at a normal company.
Cons
No base

Call Center with Really Great coworkers
Writing Agent (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLMarch 1, 2018
Come in every day (at least 6 days a week) and make hundreds of phone calls and try to find someone who qualifies for the plan and sell them on it via a screen-share. You are expected to work at least 12 hours a day making phone calls. The best part of the job is the people you with on a daily basis. Everyone is super nice and everyone is willing to help in whatever way they can. Everyone is super encouraging and it makes for a cooperative and collaborative environment. Be prepared to work more hours and more days than you have ever in any other job before.
Pros
free food regularly, income potential, coworkers, office environment
Cons
no benefits, hours expected to work

Ramp UP Time
Licensed Agent (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLDecember 19, 2017
Started with company as an intern and gradually learned the business. The average sales agent told me that it had taken them about 3 to 4 months to Ramp Up. I found that in my personal experience working with USHA to be true. Once you make it you are in and the pay is good.
Pros
Flex Work Hours
Cons
Ramp Up Time took about 3 to 4 months before making money

Advisor (Current Employee) –  tampa flOctober 23, 2017
80 hour work weeks plus 10 hours of driving a day is not worth any sum of money. The are some very immature people in the office. Although this place has unlimited potential is just very clicked up!

Sold healthcare program over the phone. Shot gun approach and until you are licensed in multiple states your income is severely limited. Turnover is high

Not for everyone
INDEPENDENT HEALTH ADVISOR/SALES AGENT (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLNovember 3, 2016
Not really for everyone, if you like a sales environment with people constantly breathing down you neck then maybe this is for you but not for me. Passive aggressive support and many people with bad intentions here.

They offer a decent amount of leads and training. You are able to occasionally work from home, but no more than a few times a week because of all the mandatory meetings and training's.
