In the information systems department (HSIR) you can find work life balance but only if you have boundaries and respect them. Other than the director on the 4th floor the others don't care so it will be up to you. But, as long as you are competent and strong willed you can maintain work life balance.

Horrible work/life balance. Managers didnt care what time you are supposed to leave. Expect you to work overtime with no overtime pay.
