I have not been working at V3 very long but I love working for this company. The team I work with is awesome and management is great. Overall a great work environment.

They don't do solar any differently or better than any other installer, they just aggressively sell. The company has a cult-like culture of how wonderful it is to work there while chronically underpaying the staff. You are not given holidays if you do not work that specific day. Management is all top down no real feedback is taken into account. They spend so much time on hiring because they have a revolving door of staff. There have been issues with harassment and unprofessional behavior that have been ignored and pushed aside. The annual holiday party is run more like a boring church function, you pay for your own drinks, and really boring and dumb games. I left as soon as I could every time.I would only recommend if you are going to get some experience added to your resume, so you can then leverage that to find a better paying posting.I did get some good work experience, but it was grueling frustrating experience at the same time. Upper management definitely has a Boomer mentality to the economic realities that their underpaid staff faces. They have given financial advice to the staff like, not spending a lot of money on a fancy car while they drive a Tesla.
My review goes as this. I had a wonderful time at first. Exciting and challenging but very absorbable. I very much enjoyed my interview. It was refreshing. Later during the work I saw where I was not experienced and I enjoyed those challenges. I learned not only from leaders but by my peers as well. However, the longer you work there the more clear you will find that it's important to get on the right team. There are different leadership styles here so its imperative that you pick the team with the best leader for you. There are toxic leaders and non-toxic leaders. So definitely pay attention to who your leaders is. This company can be satisfying and rewarding but you got to watch your back. So, if you have a issue with your leader upper management will back you up if your honest about your problems. I liked a lot of the people. They were highly competitive and ambitious people. Exciting like I said.

The job starts off slow. There's a lot to learn and not a lot of help. Trainings happen frequently but it seemed to be similar each time due to new employees constantly being added due to a high turnover rate. Although if you are committed to it and put in as many hours as possible, you will see success. You need to get to as many people as possible but the success rate is inconsistent, especially for someone who has just started. In my experience, some managers are an open book and are willing to help as long as you ask. However, others do not see their manager position as a mentor role and only help the reps under them when they think its worth their time because your success is their success, but your failure is not their problem.

Ups and downs but a great work environment! Encourage you to apply and see if you are selected! Truthfully it’s what YOU make it just like any other job
