I actually really liked working for Vacasa for a while. It almost feels like you work for yourself, which I personally liked. The management doesn't watch over you, the app just tells you where to go clean and you go do it and go home. I went weeks without talking to management. These things can be nice to begin with, I felt mostly free there and I never took advantage of it, I enjoyed my work. Overtime however, I lost my ambition with the company because I didn't get the encouragement that I typically like to receive from a job. Communication is important to me and after a while, I felt really bored from hardly any social interaction. Also benefits were hard to get with the hours they give you. You can work a ton in the busy season but hours slow a lot and it will mess you up from getting the benefits. They add all of your hours up to get the average.

Fun growing company. Great culture, resources, and people. Lot's of opportunity for growth, good perks and benefits. Work can get a little monotonous depending on position.

This is a very fun company to work for. Very team first type of environment. Even in WFH, I grew long lasting connections with others on my team. Benefits/compensation could use a reevaluation. - health wise is wonderful - i wish there was a tuition reimbursement program - employees are not paid well, when taking into account the work-load and individual qualifications - imo. There should be a benefit that replaces the employee discount. Most of my colleagues either haven't used it, or only used it once (including myself). Doesn't seem worth it

overall, I would not work there again, nor would I even suggest it to anyone. You are basically cannon fodder with no future. There will be no return on investment whatsoever.

I loved working for Vacasa, I didn’t want to leave. Unfortunately my father is failing in his health more and more and I had to move back home to be on property with him. If there were Vacasa Jobs in Oklahoma I would have definitely stayed with the company! I miss my job, my coworkers , and working for Vacasa.
