What advice would you give the CEO of Vacasa about how to improve it?

Remember that your housekeepers are your greatest asset. You call them the heart of the company but continue to marginalize them any chance you get. Marketing Vacasa as a tech company is delusional. Without your housekeepers utilizing your apps they don't mean anything. Vacasa can operate without apps, but without housekeepers your company will not survive. Also think about the huge disparity between your laborers and your office drones. Office workers get free coffee, beer, food, play ping pong, bring their dogs to work AND get breaks. Your housekeepers are out there starving, dehydrated, miss their pets, and don't get a break during their 14 hour grind.

Hello i think they seriously dont respect their employees or care for them ,the ceo really needs to understand that training costs companys alot of money your paying 2 people to do the same job a good running ship has well trained managers and staff, high turnover is costly to a company.

Oregon North Coast - Policies and procedures need to be clearer, concise and consistent which they are not even close. I realize the company is expanding exceptionally however if you don't have a stable foundation, what's the point!? You will constantly lose employees, homes, contractors etc. Favoritism and clicks are definitely in play in this company. There is so much in fighting with management it's ridiculous and disruptive to positive growth. Seaside, Cannon Beach, Gearhart I feel is one of the most poorly manager territories! This is what happens when you basically hand it over to one very manipulative, dishonest, uncaring and for lack of a better word, Fake GM , Fake Leads, Fake LOM's, Fake Team Leads I've ever encountered! Very unprofessional management and very VULGAR as well.

Pay attention to what your original vision was upon startup. Every company seems to sway from original vision. You’ve a 3⭐️ Rating that should speak to your misguidedness...employees make your business. Without them you’re just a shell.

Seems to me there are HUGE management issues. Your only as strong as your weakest link. You should listen to the boots on the ground Sir. They are your bread and butter!

Instead of blowing smoke up the backside of your employees with your claims of being competitive and caring about them, how about you pay them better and give them a little job security?

Have an awareness that those in upper management (especially those that enjoy firing people at every whim vs do performance labs and work through workable issues) are showing upper management one side of their personality (laughter and brown nosing and gossip), and a terrible side to those under them. If over 5 plus people from departments mention problems with the same person to HR and nothing happens, but more firing and problems and more firing to deflect problems - HR needs to look into what is going on. I was told by my manager I was loved, given jewelry, hugs and written up in the drop of a hat - with in a year over 20 people have quit or been fired - the manager in no way has used the vacasa performance labs or hr complaints to better things just process of elimination to cover their own tracks. Listen to the little people - that are intentionally kept separate from upper management.

Train your management better. Attitude reflects leadership.
