The hiring process, fourteen years ago took less than one month from the initial interview, drug screening process to the offer letter. I expect the process today to be similar.

It really depends on what time of the year you apply. The best time to apply is usually in the Spring. I got hired pretty quick in June of 2015 because they needed people where they hired me. If you waited until the Winter, the hiring process is a little slower but still in effect. If you're applying at a store that desperately needs help, I'd say around a week or two. They'll call you and interview you, perform a background check (that indicated that you got the job because they wouldn't go through that trouble otherwise), and call you back in to start your training. The amount of time it takes to get hired depends on what part of the year you apply.

I got hired during a time where they desperately needed people. So end of May, early June of 2015. A day or two after applying, they called me in at 7am for an interview. I dressed all nice and went in to speak to the manager at store 1565. The manager there seemed like she liked me and pretty much hired me on spot. I had to wait for them to perform a background check (which takes a few days to a week). Usually when they do a background check, you know you're definitely hired. They wouldn't go through all that trouble otherwise. A week later, I was called into the store closest to my house for training, and my career there pretty much took off from then on.
