Great place to work great benefits.

Management needs to pay more attention to the associates and not protect the people that have worked there many years. Long term employees tend to take advantage of their positions and the company. I worked there almost 3 years with no raise other than the COLA which was 1%. No reviews.

Valley Pacific Petroleum Inc.

Valley Pacific Petroleum Inc. was a pretty good place to work, however fleet management isn’t as professional as I would have expected. Had I been further along in my career I may have been a better fit, but because of personal reasons I made the decision to part ways.

Mormon owned and managed

Mormon evangelism. Poor training. Subordinates penalized for manager's lack of task completion hindering the underling's success. Spineless marketing manager.

Established and growing company

Most days are the same. The variety in tasks throughout the day is minimal, as there is a separation between each role. That is both a wonderful thing and sometimes doesn't allow for much growth in your role. The owners of the company are top notch.

good paying

The company as a hole is beyond excellent . The owners are very nice and fair people, I would recommend this job to any one that can keep there mouth shut and put up with always bringing in new management that only have book knowledge of business, Every one is very good to work with, the hardest part is the expect you to obey with out question and they act like they care about you but when it comes down to needing time off or schedule change the are reluctant to give but have no problem taking

Good Experience

A typical day at work consist of: Getting you register ready, making sure you fill out any cigarrette logs before starting your shift. Helping customer if they have any questions. Re-stocking cooler, chip and candy area and making coffee when its slow. Working for this company i learned how to weight trucks, what to do if their a gas/ diesel spill and how to clean it up. Management their is okay they set rules that they cant even follow. As far as co-workers go every one their works as a team. The hardest part working there i would say its dealing with truck drivers since some of them can get a bit rude. The most enjoyable part of working there is that you meet a lot of people from different races, religions ect. Heck i even met a few r&b singers and some actors working there.

Pros

meeting a lot of people and learning how to use a truck scale

Cons

poor management
