Being able to see the progress and changes in my patients was extremely rewarding. We have been without consistent leadership for so long, that it’s hard to make real changes to the program and policies are vague. Corporate seems to pressure management to fill beds even when the floor is severely understaffed.

I’d rather work in fast food than be treated with so much rudeness and dishonesty that this company has not only shown me but several others. Thank you next.
Clinical Mental Health Counselor- Unpaid Internship in Fayetteville, AR

Working with the patient population is both the best and worst parts of the job. There are so many people who get life-altering help there, but some are very dangerous to themselves & to staff. It makes for a very tense and stressful workday. Everyone works as a team to overcome any issues, so it is manageable.

Vantage Point Behavioral health will take advantage of your professional skills. Numbers over people and care. Staff are used until they reach burnout and self-care is said to be a priority but it is not.
Therapist/Counselor in Fayetteville, AR

Vantage Point is the place you go to get hours/licenses to eventually get a better job somewhere else. I haven’t met a staff member that truly wants to be there. They tell you that you get an hour lunch break and you only work 8-4, but that’s not true at all. You are expected to get work done, even outside of your paid hours. No bonus pay for salary workers if you have to stay late to complete a task that “has to be done.” If you want to experience burnout, this is the place for you!
