What is the work environment and culture like at Varsity Tutors?

There isn't one. The company provides absolutely no support to tutors other than the online scheduling tool and a handful of instructing resources that can easily be obtained with less than 10 minutes effort.

They use racial slurs during the training process. Which made fell uncomfortable. The over staff is good. Some are actually looking out for your best interest. I would highly recommend gathering all i formation before agreeing to work for the company. Most of the information wasn’t given until after you are hired and asked for when a normal business would have given all this info prior to you on-boarding

Flexible. You work as many or as few hours per week as you want from the comfort of your own home. Management is very supportive and helpful.
