Looking them up first before you accept the job offer.Negotiate for a good salary. If you are not a certified tech, don't apply there because they will that as an excuse not to pay you fair while you will be doing the work of a certified tech

Minimally. It is not annual and when you do get a raise it can be 0.10- 0.40 cents. The raise from tech to RVT is $1.00 per hour after $800 in fees to test.

Yes, you have to have the love for the animals to care for the them to see their survival. And to merely
exist as they were put here. As wonderful as they are. Just to care.
